lost virginity

Posted by Leda at 10:16 PM 0 comments

I've just lost my Gossip Girl Virginity. I watched the first ever episode as i've never watched one before, ever. I am utterly hooked and plan to spend the next two days watching one episode after the other.

Bye life..

What's the use of the design on the slipper (the part where you place your foot), if it can't be seen when you actually wear the slipper when you walk? Do you need to take it off for people to see? It just doesn't make sense to me ...but nah, who cares anyway..:))

anxiety, excitement, depression, joy

That is what i usually feel in a daily basis. Which i don't exactly know why but i think it is what i feel. I don't know if  I'm just thinking too much or something. I hope nothing excessively sad and bad happens anytime soon.
Pretty sure i wont know how I'll handle it

As of now, I'm stuck in a rut.

Oh hello there, Jacob's abs.

Posted by Leda at 8:54 AM 0 comments
"Let's face it, I'm hotter than you." Thus goes Jacob Black's line to Edward Cullen. That line elicited the most reaction from the audience, and I couldn't help but agree. Of course I am talking about The Twilight Saga: Eclipse movie. I saw it with my sister Kyla today in its first showing day in the Philippines.

I won't be posting any spoilers (though I am sure that most of you already knows what happens in the movie hrhr) but let me just share with you what I think of the movie. I think the director David Slade did a pretty good job with the execution. I did not reread the book but I remember most of the scenes when they were translated in the big screen. The pack of werewolves were adorable and made me wish I can snuggle to one at night. I wish Rachelle Lefevre was not replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard as Victoria. Taylor Lautner's body, yumm. One thought just keeps nagging me though. Isn't love supposed to make you feel happy? Isn't love supposed to make you glow and bloom with love sweet la-la-love? If that's the case, it's a bit hard for me to imagine Edward and Bella's love for each other as Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart look pained in almost every scene they're in together. And don't tell me it's because they're worried for Bella's safety; there must be one day they can enjoy each other's company without thinking of anything else except each other. Bella even looks happier when she's with Jacob. And who can blame her? I mean, I can lie on Taylor Lautner's abs all day! :D

it's not all fun and games

Posted by Leda at 2:05 AM 0 comments
So you’d better find a way to make life a little less of a chore.
Why don’t you make it a habit to leave little “notes” to someone special every morning?
How about spending lunch with an old toy?
Or eating dinner on a breakfast tray?

JUST BECAUSE.

cold and weak

Posted by Leda at 2:05 PM 0 comments
Flu. I has it.

Oh why do I have to get this now?

I just wanted my Thursday to be normal for God sake! been sick for almost 1 week now gundamnit.
It’s 4:50 in the morning and I can’t sleep. It’s cold. Moving my muscles just an inch makes me want to cry. Now, let’s all be quiet while I type here. If Mom finds out I’m awake, I’ll get another scolding.

You push yourself too hard. You should rest. Please be nicer to your body.

She’s right, of course. People, just because you jog frequently, it doesn’t mean you are virus-resistant.
It’s almost 5:00 am. I don’t think I can sleep with these goshdarn back pains and fever. I think I’ll walk around the house and mark all places where I could have gotten or where the virus is making its merry home.

Goo-morning :)

Ohhh love the smell!

Posted by Leda at 10:01 PM 0 comments
I love the smell of nail polish in the morning. It’s true. Now polishing my nails is not something I do a lot because I also prefer working in the mornings. Fresh polish does not exactly make for a happy time typing away on a keyboard.

But on rare occasions that I get a free morning, I try to fill our  place with the smell of nail polish. Unfortunately, the latest nail coloring adventure was followed with a need to tweak with jump rings and pliers and beads and loose chains of silver. The tweaking probably took me longer than usual because I got out of it with unscratched and un-chipped nails. Miracle of miracles.

In other news: Rain! Finally.

Right on schedule, Wet Season. Good job. Now go easy on the typhoons.

boring tuesday!

Posted by Leda at 2:26 AM 1 comments
Yesterday i want to make a lot of things. The desire (at three in the afternoon) does not reflect my drive to actually make or do things everyday. yesterday, for instance, I wanted:

1) upload pictures from our weekend gateaway

2) make school tags for my niece

3) pamper Princess and Milo

4) reconstruct a brown blouse I bought off eBay

I started on the brown blouse but I didn’t finish it. I went downstairs, watched dvd., ate pancit canton, hard-boiled egg,  and French toast. In other words, I was unproductive and getting fat.

* sigh*

Today  was quite boring but yet i did something productive though they're ain't the things that i wanted to do yesterday but its ok at least i tried to pick up my ass and be busy :) and these are the things that kept me busy today:

organized my collections from books to dvd's from  pirated to original.

The Pirated

The Original

I only buy original of my favorite movies that is why they're less than the pirated. ( guess you guys know the reason hehe)

obligatory after-vacation photo post

Posted by Leda at 11:23 PM 0 comments
The trip down the north to the south of Manila  involved stepping on my favorite beach in Batangas again. My family and I went there September of last year and the beach then was depressingly algae-ridden. Enjoying the beach without the algae was not the reason i agreed to go this time, though. I agreed to go because I wanted to eat at CouCou Bar & Restaurant again. Side note: It’s sad that the best restaurants I know are not easily accessible. Aside from CouCou, the Yoghurt House in Tagaytay has mouthwatering food, you’ll consider spending the rest of your days in the mountain town.

This is what we went in this trip:

a bit pricey but so worth every cent

I thought that the food would be the best part of the trip (aside from the “being silly with friends” part) but I was wrong. The zip-line experience in Tagaytay was pure joy.

weekend OFF

Posted by Leda at 4:58 PM 0 comments
By the time this post is published, I’ll already be on the road, heading to a place that far from people and pollution. It feels strange, going on vacation without my family because this time i'm going with my high school friends that it makes me feel more strange haha. The last time i went on vacation with them was after our graduation..Hope this gonna be a fun vacation. :)

Will be back Monday night. Will probably not be able to check in while I’m away. If I get a good signal, I’ll update my Facebook or Tumblr. Add me HERE  or follow me HERE . But only if you wanna.

Enjoy your weekend!

Travel Essentials

Normally, I’d have a book in my shoulder bag when I travel. This time, I  got a couple of ebooks in my mobile. Eases up the load considerably.

TGIF! ( Thank God It's Friday )

Posted by Leda at 8:13 PM 1 comments
Who went out of the house in a skirt that needs ironing?

Leda raises her hand in shame.

Gundemmit, I hate ironing. I admit that I am not the most  domestic  person but I can summon the appropriate amount of enthusiasm  for some  chores. Folding newly-laundered clothes, for instance, is something I  look forward to. I also love washing the dishes. Even cleaning the  bathroom/toilet! Just play random noisy  songs at full volume and I’ll  give you a pristine comfort room in two  hours, tops.
But ironing…Dear old ironing… I think I’d rather  chop a hundred  onions. Ironing is second to cleaning the windows in my  list of “Chores  You Can’t Pay Me $1M to Do.”

How about you? What chores do you hate? Wanna trade?

Farmville one of Time's '50 Worst Inventions'

Posted by Leda at 4:37 PM 1 comments
We can't deny the fact that many of Facebook users plays farmville and i know most of us got addicted with this game and i'm not ashamed raising my hands haha yes, i was a farmville addict! i'm the one of those people who wakes up in the middle of the night and in 5:00 in the morning because they need to harvest their crops. but everything has an end,.. i just woke up one morning that i don't want to play it anymore not because im tired playing it, but because it didn't give me anymore excitement maybe because i almost have everything..from the houses, tress, animals, and even to different kinds of fences, just name it.

This is my farm now..

Time magazine recently released its list of "The 50 Worst Inventions", counting popular Facebook game application Farmville among "one of the world's bright ideas that just didn't work out."

Time bemoaned Farmville's "mindlessness," pointing out the game's repetitive nature even as it begrudgingly acceded that the virtual farm app is "the most addictive of Facebook games".
"(Farmville) is hardly even a game —it's more a series of mindless chores on a digital farm, requiring the endless clicking of a mouse to plant and harvest crops," Time said.
Still, Time noted that "more than 10% of Americans" log into Farmville, citing statistics from the game's developer, Zynga.
Also included on Time's list of worst inventions are such bizarre creations as the Electric Facial Mask and Venetian-Blind Sunglasses, as well as those banes of online existence, Spam E-mail and Pop-Up Ads.

who hates starbucks?

Posted by Leda at 1:21 AM 1 comments
Everyone loves Starbucks. We can’t lie about this one, as the proof is obvious. We have such a demand for coffee that there’s a Starbucks on what seems like every block. Starbucks isn’t just in the United States, but it’s also thriving on the streets of other countries as well. A common line I hear from people I know is, “I love coffee from my home, and I even have my own espresso machine. However, there’s nothing like getting one from Starbucks.” Is Starbucks just so good that we keep coming back, and regardless of how high they price it, we still buy it?

Bro was the only people i know who hates Starbucks, but look he's carrying it everywhere now even in the car! :)

I'm trying...

Posted by Leda at 8:49 PM 3 comments
Don't cry because it's over...
Smile because it happened...

I'm feeling low today... the rains outside made it worse. I am normally such a happy person but sometimes I can no longer fake a smile when the pain is too much too handle.

I chanced upon this quote... Loneliness adds beauty to life... it puts a special burn on sunsets and makes night air smell better. I guess I just have to do what I do best... and make loneliness work to my advantage. I'm going to shoot the sunset later if the rain stops. Or maybe tomorrow... or the day after...

What's in my bag..

Posted by Leda at 6:53 PM 6 comments
I am always a big bag kind of girl.
I can't leave the house without bringing the whole house with me.
You'll never know what to expect when you're out there.

I have two Hello Kitty pouches (see, I haven't outgrown the Sanrio era)...
one contains my make-up and the other one is for my point and shoot camera.

There is my Moleskine which I have with me all the time,
my mobile phone, my sunnies (depends on my outfit for the day),
my serious Kate Spade glasses, my Gucci wallet and my pen case.

What's inside my pen case?

Lots of pinks inside my pen case...
a pink USB, pink highlighter, pink pens
and of course some black pens for signing documents.

And what's in my make-up pouch?

Shu Uemura brushes, Nars blush, Smashbox mineral powder,
Neutrogena mineral eye make-up, Bare Essentials Lip Shimmer,
lots of Bath and Body Works Hand Sanitizer (that's for the OC part of me)
and a huge mirror... those are what I normally bring with me.

Other stuff have to be left at home or else, I need another bag for them.
And I don't have anymore of those cute Hello Kitty pouches.
Maybe, if I can find another one, I can bring absolutely everything.

So ladies, what's inside your bag?
